My recent getaway to Du Lac was truly a delight. Nestled along the lake, this charming 3-star hotel boasts an inviting restaurant with a unique ambiance. I was captivated by the tiny balcony attached to my room, perfect for enjoying a quiet moment while listening to the gentle lapping of waves below. The culinary offerings were particularly impressive. Breakfast was a wonderful affair, with a buffet that catered to both local and Italian breakfast options. I indulged in their risotto with prawns and citrus fruits, which was a delightful surprise, and the lake lavaret baked in foil was fragrant with herbs and lemon, highlighting the region's fresh produce. Aside from the on-site dining, complimentary access to a nearby beach with sun loungers added to my relaxation. I would certainly consider returning for another culinary experience by the lake.
